Walter A. Renn
enrolled at the Chicago Academy of Art in the late 1940s, then worked as an artist
for Popular Mechanics magazine before and after serving in the Korean War.
Walter returned to art school in the 1960s and studied under Irving Shapiro,
a famous watercolorist. Now retired, he is active with several art leagues
and serves on the board of the Vanderpoel Art Association. Walter is currently
studying under watercolorist John Howard, a reknowned instructor at Moraine
Valley Community College. |
